About the Jackson County Library Foundation

The Jackson County Library Foundation is committed to building a vibrant library system that is recognized for the excellence of its services, facilities, and staff.

As the fundraising organization for the Jackson County Library Services, the Foundation seeks financial support for selected capital improvements, enhancements, services, and programs that are not provided by the County.

To accomplish our mission and objectives, the Foundation works in conjunction with the Jackson County government, and LSSI, the company responsible for managing operations of the Jackson County Library Services.

Formed in 1982, the Foundation has helped secure funds for the Libraries in Jackson County in a variety of ways: JCLF writes grants for programs and library events, accepts donations to the Libraries, manages bequests and donations for restricted funds, manages annual funds, and supports the ongoing programming.
